WHAT'S THE RUSH?

HOODRICH X D DOUBLE E

Nothing great happens quickly. That's the whole story. Hoodrich, the Birmingham streetwear brand built From Nothing To Something, has teamed up with grime pioneer D Double E for What's The Rush. A short film on patience, dedication and putting the work in before the world's watching.

THE STORY

What's The Rush isn't a product film. It's a mindset film. Narrated by D Double E, the story sits with the idea that real growth can't be rushed. Grind first, glory later. Work hard, be patient, and it comes when it's meant to, not before.

“Some people think patience is about standing still. It's not. It's knowing when to move and when to hold”

That message runs straight through Hoodrich DNA. Founded in Birmingham in 2014 by Jay Williams, the brand is now global and stocked in over 24 countries.

WHY D DOUBLE E X HOODRICH MAKES SENSE

You don't co-sign Hoodrich unless you've earned your own stripes. D Double E is a grime original, a voice that's been in the game since before the game had a name, patient enough to watch it grow into what it is now. That's the connection. Not a celebrity feature. A shared story of putting in years before anyone hands you anything.

Hoodrich is built through UK rap, grime, drill and football culture, not bolted onto it after the fact. Linking with D Double E for a story about patience isn't a marketing angle, it's the brand talking to its own roots.

WEAR THE STORY: THE WINNERS CIRCLE

The collection carries that same proud but never satisfied attitude. Statement designs, elevated fits, upgraded fabrics, reworked classics built for everyday rotation, not just the hype cycle. Product you can't ignore, made for a brand that's still moving, still locked in.
